UC Merced Parking Permits and Rates 2009 - 2010

 

Our mission is to protect the spaces of those who pay for and properly display a valid parking permit to ensure a safe and user friendly environment is maintained on our campus.  In addition, parking citations will be issued to those who do not abide by the UC Merced Parking Regulations.  Payment of a fee to park on campus does not guarantee space availability.

GUEST permits are available at parking kiosks in the Lake Lots, Library Lot and Science and Engineering lot.  The rates are as follows:

  • 0.0 - 2.0 hours - $2.00
  • 2.0 - 4.0 hours - $3.00
  • 4.0 - 6.0 hours - $4.00
  • 6.0 - 8.0 hours - $6.00

Student Permits (effective August 21, 2009 - based on 9 months)

COMMUTER (Living off campus)                         $270.00

EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATIONS

Employees - non career working < 20 hours/wk will pay 1/2 monthly full time rate
Employees - non career working > 19 hours/wk will pay the monthly full time rate
Employees - Staff, Faculty, Post Docs, Graduate Students, Contracted Staff will 
                    pay the monthly full time rate
