Summer "Virtual" Parking Permits - Students Only

Virtual Parking Permits - Coming this Summer for Students Only

This summer UC Merced Transportation & Parking Services (TAPS) will be transitioning to “virtual" parking permits.  Summer session permits will be associated with vehicle license plates rather than a traditional windshield sticker. Beginning May 7, 2018, all students will be required to register their vehicle information in order to purchase a parking permit.

  3. Log in with your UCM Net ID
  4. Review the information listed in Registered Vehicles
  5. If the vehicle information listed under Registered Vehicles is incorrect, either select a vehicle to edit, remove or click Add New Vehicle to enter a new vehicle.
  6. After completion, your vehicle information will be listed under the Registered Vehicles section.

To assist with vehicle registration, TAPS representatives are available at the TAPS office, located in the Facilities Services Building A, Monday-Friday, 8AM to 12PM and 1PM to 4PM. All vehicle information must be registered using the instructions above to avoid a parking citation.
