Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
There are two parking spaces in the Library Lot specifically for electric vehicle charging. These spaces provide access for charging purposes only. When charging is complete, the vehicle must be moved to an alternate location as soon as possible. Paid parking at UC Merced is required. Campus visitors please review parking regulations for additional information.

Chargepoint stations accept RFID enabled credit cards or your Chargepoint account. To create an account, please visit na.chargepoint.com/register.
For customers without a Chargepoint account or RFID credit card, please call 1-888-758-4389 for assistance.

There are 12 stations located in Bellevue Lot – Gold Zone that are double ports and 2 in University Lot operated by Blink. These are also Level 2 stations. No membership is necessary. Simply download the Blink Charging App to initiate a charge session as a guest or become a member at no charge.

Please Note: Vehicles must be actively charging while parked in these spaces to avoid receiving a citation. Please do not unplug other vehicles without permission from the vehicle owner and be sure to return the cord to the charging station when you are finished.
