There is nothing better than riding your bike across Scholar's Lane Bridge on a nice sunny day...Biking is a great way to travel around Merced and the university campus. There are many bike paths around the city, including the one along North Lake Road which leads to Lake Yosemite in one direction, and connects with numerous paths in the opposite direction. Riding your bike to campus is a cheaper, more energy efficient, and a healthier alternative than driving.
