City Announces Launch of Yosemite Avenue Roadway Reconstruction Work
The City of Merced is set to begin the Yosemite Avenue Roadway Reconstruction Project, a major infrastructure improvement effort aimed at enhancing traffic flow, roadway conditions, and utility systems along Yosemite Avenue from G Street to Parsons Avenue.
The project is set to begin Monday, April 14, 2025. Road closures and detours will occur throughout the construction period, which is expected to run through the summer and conclude sometime in October 2025. Please plan your routes accordingly and allow extra time for travel during this period.
Due to the location of the construction zones, the Promenade stop will be temporarily CLOSED. Please use the Yosemite/Cordova and Yosemite Crossings stop to access the Promenade during this time period. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
