Dear Campus Community,
UC Merced Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) is pleased to announce the upcoming migration to a new and improved parking management platform.
Beginning next week, all parking-related transactions, including permit purchases, citation payments, and appeals, will be processed through T2 Systems.
This transition is part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing customer service, streamlining operations, and providing a more user-friendly experience for our campus community.
The transition will begin on Thursday, July 10, and continue through Tuesday, July 15. During this time, TAPS will be unable to process any in-person or online transactions related to parking permits or citations. Please review the following instructions:
Daily paid PARKING will be available using:
- On-campus kiosks
- Pay by Text
- Flowbird mobile application (available only to Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Students)
Any CITATIONS/APPEALS due during this transition will be paused due to system unavailability. Deadlines to remit payments or submit appeals will be extended without penalty.
Following the successful transition, students, faculty, and staff will be able to use the new My UC Merced Parking Portal to:
- Update personal and vehicle information
- Manage parking waitlist choices
- Purchase parking permits
- Pay for and appeal citations
All links to the TAPS website will be updated and available once the transition has been successfully completed.
Please do not hesitate to contact our office (209) 228-8277 if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Transportation and Parking Services
